We establish regional live/work sites - each with a skilled, fully equipped, motivated workforce - in close proximity to your project. We manage the physical live/work sites, care for the needs of workers and their families, and maintain constant, productive awareness of the client and workforce experience. These “home bases” are more than a place for workers to eat and sleep: they have access to activities, skillshare, thrivecoaching, and an intentionally cultivated community.
This model will also begin bridging the gap between a robust construction marketplace, and the simultaneous labor and affordable housing shortage straining the industry in recent years.
Live/Work
We’re uniquely positioned to create lasting change within the traditional construction industry, shifting the paradigm from one which focuses on profit, to one that focuses on profit and people.
Thrivebuild’s roots are grounded in the construction industry, with 25 years of experience and success across countless projects, servicing commercial clients all over Southern California and staffing our own in-house, multi-trade, workforce with crews upwards of 40 people on any given project.
Our management team has a diverse combination of unique and relevant backgrounds - traditional general contracting, commercial fishing in Alaska, developing the infrastructure of Burning Man, remodeling RVs, and building custom live-in vans - which means creative brainstorming, a broad area of expertise, and a readiness to take on challenges of all kinds.
Construction
We provide construction management professionals, specialty tradespeople, skilled and semiskilled workers, general laborers, and administrators. Your Thrivebuild crew members show up prepared to take on the day’s tasks, driven by a desire to add value to your project, their own lives, and the larger world.
Location and season dependent, we’re able to have “boots on the ground” within two weeks of agreement. If you have a Thrivebuild account and a workforce already in place, we’re able to provide additional workers within one week. We’re equally happy to staff small or short-term projects requiring only one or two workers, a specialty tradesperson, or a ThriveBuild team that can grow in numbers as the project progresses.
